Buffet from France in the Louis XVI style. This piece is made of solid wood construction; primarily mahogany. It has been fully ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish. There are four doors that open to interior shelving; including two curved doors. The two central doors showcase a ribbed facade. There are two dovetailed drawers. All feature finely cast gilt brass hardware and pulls. The buffet supports an intact veined Calacatta Viola marble slab original to the buffet. This piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
