Chest of drawers from France in the Empire style. This petite chest of drawers is made of mahogany that has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. This piece has four dovetailed drawers, and gilt brass pulls on each. The top drawer is hidden in the apron and features brass decor. The chest has the traditional Empire detached columns. Atop the chest sits a gray Sainte Anne marble slab. The chest is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
