Each sconce features a beautifully proportioned, hand-blown olive-green Murano glass shade, distinguished by pronounced horizontal ribbing that creates wonderful texture and softly diffuses the light. The subtle variations in color and surface are characteristic of individually worked Venetian glass.
Below, a spherical Murano glass element provides a jewel-like counterpoint to the green shade. The clear glass is enriched with aventurine and 24-karat gold leaf flecks fused into the glass, producing delicate golden reflections that come alive when illuminated. A small brass finial completes the composition.
