Mirror from the Louis Philippe period in France. This mirror features the original mercury mirror within the classic Louis Philippe molded frame with curved upper corners. The frame is made of solid wood hand carved and stuccoed. This mirror boasts floral chiseled detailing. There is an undertone coating of sienna glaze covered with a patinated 24 carat gold leafing. It is in excellent antique condition – the photos accurately depict the condition.
