Miniature French Restoration chest of drawers called a “commode de Maitrise” - this was a model after which French craftsman would learn and visualize the proportions for a chest to be created. We love the proportions and beautiful skills shown by the maker. It is crafted of walnut and burled walnut with dovetailed drawers. Such a great “miniature” example of the Restoration commode.
