French Louis XVI style desk of mahogany, finished with a Museum quality French polish. The contours of the writing table are covered with gilt brass trims while Pearl trims adorn the side panels and the façade of the desk, and with tapered legs with gilt bronze feet. Five dovetailed drawers with working keys and locks offer ample storage for this sophisticated yet practical desk. This piece is in very nice vintage condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
