French Louis XVI style writing desk made of solid wood construction; primarily cherry wood. It has been finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. The top features a green leather writing surface original to the piece. There are four dovetailed drawers all with bronze pulls that offer sophisticated yet practical storage. On the right hand side of the desk is a pull out leaf for extended writing surface. The leaf is also covered with the original green leather. This piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
