Mirror from the Louis Philippe period in France. This mirror is made of wood with a stuccoed frame. The shape features the classic curved upper corners typical of the time period. The frame has ebonized borders and a trim of “faux bois” technique, hand-painted effect to mimic burled wood. Original Mercury mirror. This piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
