Grand mirror from early 19th century Italy in the 17th century Baroque style. This piece is originally from a Tuscan palazzo and is in excellent antique condition. We love the rich décor of hand-carved acanthus leaves and scrolls in the stuccoed frame. It features all original 23 carat gold leafing. It has been fully, professionally restored. The mirror is emphasized by a crown that curls off the wall, adding grandeur. The mirror is stable and ready to hang. It is in very good antique condition – the photos accurately depict the condition of the mirror.

Baroque interior style originates from Italy in the 17th and 18th centuries. It can be characterized by the ornate, lavish details and materials. Mirrors in this style feature highly decorated frames showcasing natural motifs of leaves and florals. This is an excellent example of Italian Baroque style.
