Buffet or enfilade from France made in the Louis XVI style. This piece is made of solid wood construction, primarily mahogany that has been ebonized and finished in a lustrous French polish of museum-quality. There are five doors that open to interior shelving with working locks and keys and five drawers. The curved doors on the ends are also functional. The sideboard features gilt brass trims and hardware throughout. The credenza is topped with an intact Carrara marble slab and is supported by tapered and fluted feet. This buffet is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
