An elegant French Empire side table, circa 1810, combining richly figured mahogany with striking detached ebonized columns. The columns are finished with finely cast gilt-bronze capitals and bases, complementing the delicate original-style ring pulls. Two drawers provide discreet storage above a gracefully curved lower platform, giving the piece its distinctive architectural silhouette. Surmounted by a substantial, intact black marble slab with expressive white veining. A beautifully balanced example of French Empire design with particularly strong proportions and refined contrasting materials.

This table is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
