Pair of columns or “somno” from the Empire period in France. These were originally used as nightstands. The period circular pair sit on a larger circular base and are crafted of bent mahogany wood. Each features a marble top. A curved door opens to interior shelving. They are in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition. The two vary slightly in diameter, with one measuring 14.25” and the other 14.5”.
