French “Semainier” in the Louis XVI style. This neoclassical cabinet features seven dovetailed drawers (one for each day of the week, “semaine” means week in French). Ebonized wood is used as a secondary wood trimming each drawer. The cabinet is topped with an intact and original Carrara white marble slab. Each drawer has gilt brass pulls and hardware. The piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
