Empire period chest of drawers from France featuring a striking Cuban mahogany burled veneer. This piece has three drawers, all with original gilt bronze hardware and pulls. There are detached columns on the sides with finely cast bronze trim. This piece sits on four strong square legs. This piece has been finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. The chest is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
