“Bouillotte” side table in the Louis XVI style from France. This piece is made of solid wood construction, primarily mahogany. It has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. The top features an open brass canopy encircling an original intact Carrara marble top. The four tapered, fluted legs add an elegant element to this piece. The feet are capped with brass. Each short end of the table has a pull-out leaf, while the long sides have dovetailed drawers with brass pulls. This table is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
