Antique bronze sculpture of Silenus from Greek mythology. Silenus was the companion and tutor to the wine god, Dionysus. This piece is a 19th century replica of the original found at Pompeii. The original is now in the National Museum in Naples. It is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
