Cabinet or petite buffet from France in the Louis XVI style. This piece has a painted finish in the French “Trianon” gray color, Marie Antoinette’s favorite color to decorate the “petit TRIANON” in Versailles. The cabinet features one dovetailed drawer above a double door that opens to interior shelving. The doors and drawer have original working locks and keys and all the hardware is original gilt brass. It sits on tapered, fluted legs with brass capped feet.
