Originally from a Portuguese Monastery located at the Spanish border. 18th Century Portugal made of solid wood construction, primarily solid Mahogany. There is an extraordinary one plank top. This piece has been finished with a natural, hand-applied wax finish. The legs are all hand-carved and there is a beautiful carved edge on the single plank top. This piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear and patina consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
