Side table, “bouillotte”, in the Louis XVI style from France. This table is made of solid wood construction, primarily mahogany. It has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum-quality. The top is an original Carrara marble encircled by an open brass gallery. There are two dovetailed drawers on opposite sides, as well as two pull out leaves topped with a green leather and embossed with a gold frieze. The drawers and leaves have brass pulls. The table is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
