Pedestal built in the early 20th century from a winery press screw, in the Beaujolais region of France. This piece is made of solid wood construction, primarily walnut. The top and base of the pedestal are square in shape, while the central pedestal has a beautiful screw shape. This piece has been finished with a lustrous Bees wax polish finish. The pedestal is in very nice vintage condition, the photos accurately depict the condition.
