A charming French Art Deco side table; circa 1930, beautifully crafted in richly figured burled ash with warm golden tones. The compact demilune cabinet features two curved drawers accented by contrasting dark stringing and simple period-style metal pulls.

Particularly appealing is the table’s highly architectural silhouette: the cabinet is suspended within a dramatic continuous U-shaped support rising from a substantial rectangular plinth. The combination of sculptural geometry, beautifully figured veneer and restrained detailing gives this small piece considerable presence.

Elegant and highly functional, it works beautifully as a bedside table or as an occasional side table beside a sofa or lounge chair. Very good vintage condition with a warm, attractive patina.
