Chest from the Louis XVI period in France made of solid wood construction, primarily mahogany. This piece has been finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. There are three dovetailed drawers all embellished with brass trim. Each drawer also features two brass pulls. The four legs are tapered and capped with brass feet. The chest is topped with an intact, original gray Sainte Anne marble top. This piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
