Vase from the island of Murano, Italy. This hand-blown vase is crafted using the pulegoso technique. Pulegoso glass, which appears full of bubbles, is made by injecting into the molten glass a component that reacts and in doing so releases gas bubbles. This technique was invented in the 1920s at Venini glassworks. This vase has been fused with brass and copper. Signed by Alberto Dona.
