Bowl from Murano, Italy made of hand-blown glass using the sommerso and avventurina blowing techniques. 23 carat gold is fused within the glass in the avventurina process. Then the piece is blown using the sommerso technique which involves immersing the avventurina glass within layers of clear glass to create a layered appearance. This is an excellent piece signed by maestro Alberto Dona.
