Mirror from the island of Murano outside of Venice, Italy. This piece was created by Giuliano Fuga. The frame of the mirror is crafted with beveled hand-blown Murano glass which has been silvered and antiqued. Each piece is framed with a torsado glass rod. The frame is broader at the top than bottom for an impressive effect. Each of the four corners is adorned with a glass amber leaf and glass flower. The central mirror is beveled. It is in excellent vintage condition – the photos accurately depict the condition.

The Fuga name has been linked with exquisite Venetian mirrors since 1852. The artist Angelo Fuga originally crafted these pieces with the highest quality of craftsmanship. Yet, it was Franco Fuga and his wife who originally created the Ongaro e Fuga company and workshop. Today, Giuliano Fuga carries on the family tradition by creating these magnificent mirrors using traditional techniques passed down for centuries.
