Superb vintage Italian hand blown Murano "pulegoso" glass ceiling fixture, with 23-karat "polvero d'oro" (gold leaf flecks) throughout, and brass finial. Rewired for the U.S. Pulegoso: Characterized by innumerable bubbles ("puleghe") contained in the glass, obtained by chemical reaction during the heating process.
