Murano glass sconces from the island of Murano outside of Venice, Italy. They each feature three layers of clear and white “scavo” hand blown glass. We love the effect of the Art Deco lines and the texture and depth of the glass. Each sconce was created using the “scavo” technique, which leaves the pieces with a corroded or etched finish on one side of the glass. The impressive details of this pair give the sconces give a high decorative impact. They have been newly wired to fit US standards and are in very nice condition. The photos accurately depict the condition.
