Workbench from the French Alps made of solid wood construction, primarily chestnut. This piece was originally used to craft skis. The original cast iron and wooden vise is in working condition. The bottom compartment has two working locks and keys. The interior features wooden shelving used to store wood working tools originally. This piece has been finished with a natural, hand-applied wax. The workbench is in very nice antique condition with only minor wear and patina consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
