Workbench from the French alps used in the making of wooden skis. This piece is made of solid wood, mainly chestnut and fir, that has been waxed and showcases a striking patina. It includes the original forged iron vices, as well as a basin for measuring and molding the skis. A beautiful and amazing feat of woodworking. This piece is in very nice antique condition with only wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
