Art Deco period dresser from Italy. This case piece has six drawers positioned in three columns of three. Each drawer is covered in an original shagreen veneer. The leather is light tan in color with a beautiful patina. The drawers all feature an ebonized wood circular knob as well. The body of the dresser is wood and is ebonized. It is finished with a lustrous French polish of museum-quality. The dresser is supported by two pedestal feet. There is a striking travertine marble slab sitting on top. This piece is in excellent vintage condition – the photos accurately depict the condition.
