An elegant French crystal chandelier, circa 1920, designed in the refined Louis XVI tradition. The chandelier features a graceful basket-form silhouette composed of numerous faceted crystal prisms and graduated crystal beads, beautifully arranged to capture and refract the light.

A finely detailed gilt bronze band encircles the chandelier, decorated with classical scrolling ornament and providing a warm contrast to the brilliance of the clear crystal. Cascading strands rise toward the crown, while elongated faceted prisms form the generous lower basket, finished with delicate crystal drops.

The chandelier has an appealing scale, substantial enough to create presence while remaining suitable for a wide variety of interiors. A timeless French fixture combining classical elegance with the wonderful luminosity of hand-cut crystal.

This fixture has been newly wired to fit US standards. It is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
