Bookcase from France made of solid wood construction that has been finished with an original green paint. The front of the bookcase is adorned with hand carved columns and a frieze of stylized waves and acanthus leaves in a very pure Etruscan style. The decor is decorated with gold leafing. Two doors are lined with original mercury mirrors. They open to interior wood shelving. This bookcase is in very nice antique condition – the photos accurately depict the condition.
