Buffet from France in the Louis XVI style. This piece is made of solid wood construction, primarily mahogany. It has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. There are two doors that open to interior wood shelving. Above the doors, two dovetailed drawers are in excellent working condition. This piece is adorned with brass hardware and trim throughout. The lock and key are in working condition. The top features a Carrara marble slab original to the piece. It is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
