Three door buffet from early 19th century, France. This piece is made of solid wood construction, primarily cherry wood and elm. It is finished hand rubbed bees wax. There are three dovetailed drawers across the top each with a finely cast bronze pulls original to the buffet. The three doors featured solid figured elm panels and open to interior wood shelving, working locks and keys. The two front legs have a lovely hand-carved cabriole detail typical of the French Louis XV Provincial style. This piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
