Buffet from France in the Louis XVI style. This enfilade is made of mahogany that has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum-quality. There are four doors that open to interior shelving. In the upper traverse the neoclassic credenza is adorned with the finest gilt bronze frieze, while the doors are also adorned with brass trim and decor. This fine cabinet is supported by fluted “toupies” legs with brass detailing and feet. The doors feature working locks and keys. This extremely well-crafted buffet boasts an original Carrara marble slab top. It is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
