Bronze lantern, French, from around “Opera Garnier” in Paris. It was originally lit with gas. This was installed in the French capital by the architect Haussmann when Paris was completely re-conceived. It has been fully rewired to US standards. Plexiglass sheets surround the four candles cluster.
