Chest of drawers from France in the Louis XVI style. This piece is made of mahogany that has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish. There are five dovetailed drawers, two large below three smaller drawers. There are gilt brass pulls on the drawers. There are working locks and keys on the top long drawer and the center small drawer. The chest has an intact Carrara marble slab top. It is in excellent antique condition – the photos accurately depict the condition.
