French buffet or enfilade in the Louis XVI style. This piece is made of solid wood construction, primarily mahogany. It has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. There are four doors that open to reveal ample storage and wood shelving. There are four dovetailed drawers above the doors. Gilt brass trim and hardware can be found throughout with working locks and keys on the doors. This elegant sideboard is topped with an intact and original Carrara marble slab. The buffet is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
